I have always loved summer,
but I have noticed now that I am in the middle
of my life span a.k.a. peri-menopause,
the heat really is getting to me.
I find myself at work in the 108 degree kitchen
asking all my young co-workers,
"Is it hot in here or was that a hot flash?"
Pathetic, really.
So last week, we had 2 graduations to attend.
The weather did not hold up,
so we were squished into gynasiums with all the other
parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and children.
Again, cause for me to sweat uncontrollably.
But they both were wonderful ceremonies.
Here is #2 at our home before we left,
she now is officially a high schooler.
I loved her simple navy, pleated dress:

And I loved the braid in her hair:

And I love her beautiful, big brown eyes:
And I just love her:
Next up was #1's high school graduation ceremony.
She looked so lovely in her white cap and gown:
Her Daddy (who she totally looks like) was so proud of her:
Inside the school, there was a sea of green and white caps:
When she sat down after getting her diploma,
she posed...FOR SOMEONE ELSE! LOL:
At least I'll always have this photo :::sniffle:::,
her kindergarten graduation diploma photo:

And since it is a new month,
there is a new gallery over at Write.Click.Scrapbook!
The theme this month was weddings.
I dug out 3 blasts-from-our-past photos
from our big day from 24 years ago.
We celebrated our annivery on June 27th.
We have a wonderful life together,
I am a very lucky girl :)
I do love the layout I made,
even more than the embarrassing photos from the horrific 80's:
So go see the wonderful layouts over at

Have a great weekend
and Happy Birthday to my Dad,
hope you are feeling better!
